Fit

You exercise, you diet, take the best weight loss supplement and do everything you're supposed to do but you never get the result you want. Welcome to the club. A lot of women notice that it is harder to lose weight as they age. It's hard to turn back the hands of time, but I see a lot who try so hard to relieve their youth. They subject themselves to extreme exercise and follow a very strict diet regimen that it turns into a control issue. I do admire them in a way because I know I can't do half of what they're doing, but at the same time, I believe in moderation. Now, where do you draw the line?

Zumba

SO I had my first Zumba class yesterday. It was fun. I got to dance, sweat and shake my bootie. The steps were easy to follow, and the music kept me energized. I wasn't ready to stop after the hour was through. What's surprising is I didn't feel sore the next day. I look forward to the next session, and the sessions after that. This is something I don't mind doing and something I think can help me get rid of flabs that not even the most effective diet pills can get rid of.

Zit face

Just recently, I updated my FB status to something like "I'm too old to have zits on my face". It's true, that's how I feel. I wonder why adult acne is plaguing me. Not only is it unsightly, it is also very annoying because it appears on the most obvious places. I've looked at acne product reviews to see if there's something that can help me get rid of my "issues", but before I could go to the store, the zit magically disappeared. Well, I made it disappear. It hurt like hell popping it, but hey, it worked!

Too much

It was my birthday last week and I can say that the people around me really made me feel special. My FB wall was filled with birthday wishes, my phone received non-stop messages, and emails filled my inbox. There's only one problem. Eating was non-stop too. It extended to the weekend because a friend visited me from Toronto. She brought a whole bunch of goodies with her. And I ate like a maniac. I was afraid to step on the scale. lol. Good thing there's toprateddietpills.com. Hope it's not too late.

Online info

What do you do when you are surfing online and stumble upon a link that says click here for daily multivitamin? Do you click it, or do you ignore it? I normally would just ignore it, but something about multivitamin peaked my interest. I've been getting my B12 shot every month and I was wondering if it really helps. Sure, I have more energy right after the shot, but that's just that. I've taken multivitamin supplements as well but I didn't get the results I thought I would get. Maybe it's just the wrong brand?

dress

Today is the first day of fall! Hard to believe that September is almost over. Time went by too fast. Fall is not my favorite season, but there are a lot of things I look forward to. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and my favorite holiday of all, Christmas! We also have the military ball in December. Which reminds me...I need to start looking at bridesmaid dresses. The dress I wore at the ball 2 years ago was an old bridesmaid dress. Best part is, no one ever noticed! lol

Football

It's football season and hubs couldn't be happier because his BIG 10 team, Michigan Wolverines is doing real well. They've won their first three games of the season, and we're keeping our fingers crossed that they continue the streak. We're hoping there's no repeat of what happened last year where they won the first few games and then went downhill from there. We hope they continue the momentum.

I love football season because it gives me lots of gift ideas for Christmas. Hubs is more than happy to receive football gifts so it makes it a lot easier for me. Can't complain about that!

Phone

I was lost when I first got my new phone, a mytouch slide smart phone from T-mobile. I'm not a techie and I don't really have use for a lot of the Apps installed in it. All I wanted was to be able to call, text (occasionally), access my email, facebook, and yeah, facebook some more. I wasn't too comfortable browsing the setting because I didn't want to "mess" things up.

I guess boredom changes everything. I had nothing to do one day so I decided to play with my phone. I discovered an App that I thought was useful and fun. It's called barcode scanner. Basically, you can scan any barcode from consumer products and it will tell you information about the product, including the price and where you can buy it. So you can have a mental picture of me scanning every item I have in the house. Now that is funny.

iPod dilemma

The last time mom was here on vacation, she accidentally took Alexis' iPod with her back to Germany. No one knows how it ended up in her suitcase, but it did, and Alexis has been without an iPod for months now. It's a bit of a torture for her considering the fact that she and her iPod were inseparable. She tried to convince me to get a new one but looking at ipods literally makes me want to gag. Have you seen the price tag lately? DUH! Expensive! She needs to have a little more patience and just wait until her iPod finds its way back home.

Internet

I love the internet. It has made my life a lot easier. I bank, pay my bills, even book our vacation without leaving the comfort of my home. I can also watch Filipino movie and TV shows for free. My grandma who's still living in the Philippines is so surprised at how up to date I am.

Recently, I have been spending time browsing http://www.wholesaleinsurance.net because I'm on a pinching penny mode and I want to see if we are indeed getting the best deal on our insurances. We're paying a pretty good rate but it doesn't hurt to compare. Nowadays, every penny counts.
