New York, New York

"Start spreading the news...I'm leavin' today.....I wanna be a part of it...New York! New York! "

Can't think of the perfect gift idea this Christmas? If you happen to be in New York or visiting in the near future, try the gift of New York CityPass. Surprise loved ones with this unique and very affordable gift this holiday season. Each booklet has a ticket to The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the new Greek and Roman galleries, Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Guggenheim Museum and the American Museum of Natural History. Plus, a trip to the top of the Empire State Building Observatory and tour of the Manhattan skyline from the water aboard a Circle Line Sightseeing Cruise, along with a map, public transportation information and insider tips on the best time to visit each attraction.

CityPass saves time by allowing visitors to skip most main entrance ticket lines and it saves money, because New York CityPass is sold at 50% off the combined admission price. A New York CityPass is $65 for adults (compared to $130 price if the tickets were purchased separately), and $49 for youths 12-17 (a value of $89.50.) The CityPass Winter Special runs December 15 to March 15. Begin using your CityPass booklet December 15 or later and your booklet will be valid until March 15 giving you up to three entire months to use the six tickets in the booklet. CityPass offers overnight delivery options and inexpensive gift wrapping with a personalized gift card.

Personally, I won't think twice about grabbing this opportunity. What draws me into the CityPass is not only it's affordability but also the convinience it offers. It's a definite "must-have" when visiting New York. I've long wanted to be in the midst of the "City that never sleeps". I've always wanted to watch a broadway show. I've always wanted to experience the hustle and bustle and the rich history of the city, the tall buildings, and the bright lights that brighten up the entire NY city skyline.

I remember nung nag-treat si Ate Mila and she bought us that pass the first time J was in NY. it was in 1998 and of course, it included the Twin Towers. too bad the visibility was bad because it was foggy that morning, we didn't get to go.

would you believe that I've lived in NYC for so long and never had the chance of going up the Twin Towers? not even a picture at the bottom of the building.
