on it's last leg?
Hubby's laptop seems to be on it's last leg....the monitor flickers occassionaly, as if wanting to get some shut eye (monitor starts turning black). I know it will need to be replaced someday, but, arrggghhhhhhhhh now is not the right time!!! Any suggestions on temporary fix? What could be causing it?

backlight. that's what's causing the monitor to turn black. then if you look hard at it, you can actually still see some icons. very, very faint nga lang. i have the same problem. our laptop is just over 4 years old and it's doing the exact same thing.
Jack said it's replaceable. he just can't do it right now. so, i have to wait hehe

i just googled it. CCFL backlight for laptops. the only thing you have to do now is...find someone who can do the task...
