Perhaps one of most exciting things that happened in the world wide web is the emergence of social networking. The Internet has made it so much easier to connect with people from across the globe. To date, I think I'm a member of at least 3 social network communities. I've gained new friends and reconnected with my old college buddies. It's an inexpensive and fast way of communicating.
