It's a rough economy and I always think of ways to cut spending wherever I can. We used to spend $5-$10 gallons a week on bottled water but we got tired of hauling jugs of water from the supermarket so we bought water filters instead. I read an article online about how tap water might actually be the better choice. Bottled water is not necessarily cleaner or safer than most tap water in the United States, according to some studies. Many major brands of bottled water use tap water as their water source anyway. So why pay more for something that costs cents right out of my faucet?
